Drops of life

Do you feel it?

The sunshine dripping down,

From the clouds,

Drop by drop,

It falls on your skin,

And it melts,

Melts like sugar in water,

Making your pale white skin,

Shine like aurum,

And it goes underneath,

The dripping sunshine,

It makes you feel alive,

Alive and warm.

Do you feel it?

What it’s like to be alive,

When the water falls,

From the clouds above,

Drop by drop,

And then altogether,

Trying to drown you,

But you don’t,

You stand still,

Like a stone,

Or like the soil,

Seeping it all in,

Drinking it all in,

And you know,

You’re alive now,

With the aurum skin,

And the drops on it,

Slipping by,

You know you are,

Alive.
