Enroll

I don’t even remember when I enrolled for this writing business.
Oh wait, maybe I do. When the feelings poured down like a nightmarish thunderstorm. The words couldn’t find a place in my mind. They poured down from my keypad to my screen.

I don’t even remember when I enrolled for this writing business.
But when your mind runs wild, like untamed horses. When you can cook up scenarios that are never going to happen. The stars, moon and the sun become characters of your stories. The mundane becomes exciting. All you want to do then, is to pen it all down in an unforgettable fable.

I don’t even remember when I enrolled for this writing business.
But when the slightest thing overwhelms you. The movies make you cry out all your tears. When you feel a bit too much or nothing at all. Even the slightest change doesn’t go unnoticed. You have to save your mind from going into overdrive. You have to be able to differ real from imaginary.To realize that the storm was only in your mind. To realize that the fear can be overcome, however ghastly it seems.

I don’t even remember when I enrolled for this writing business.
But I’ll assure you, that I want to get better at it. Each passing day cannot be a milestone, but it can be a stepping stone. Climbing further up, I don’t think there is any destination that would be as appealing as this journey.

I don’t even remember when I enrolled for this writing business.
But I’m happy that I did. I don’t know where it will take me. I don’t know how further I can go. But I’m sure that wherever I go, I’ll be spinning out pieces of poetry. I’m sure that one day all the demons, will be the heroes of this story, where they help out a girl become what she’s always destined to be: a fearless warrior with the pen as mighty as a sword can ever be.
