The Pluviophile

Drifted away from the clatter,

To the rain’s pitter- patter,

From the delirious cacophonies,

To a melodious symphony.

Drop by drop,

Happiness pours down..

The petrichor,

A reminder,

Of why she loves,

This holy ground.

As the spell is cast,

It leaves her awestruck,

The pluviophile rejoiced,

As the lightning struck.
